Mia Binsfeld is currently attending Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where she studies Comic Arts and Painting. She works mainly with digital art and oil painting, developing a practice that explores her self-identity and life experience through the visual metaphor of an egg. Binsfeld focuses on how growing up Asian American and disabled has shaped her identity and upbringing. inviting viewers to consider how identity is shaped by both internal experience and external perception. .
